LaBEQ’s Collaboration with WSSU receives $2.2M from DOE to establish the WS-QEC.

LaBEQ, in collaboration with the Winston-Salem State University (WSSU, Dr. John Yi and his team), has received funding from the DOE’s ASCR-RENEW program to “Train a Diverse Quantum Workforce by Establishing the Winston-Salem Quantum Education Collaboratory (WS-QEC)”. The total funding for the WS-QEC is over $2.2M for 3 years. WS-QEC will be leading a number of quantum workforce development efforts including the Summer Quantum Engineering Internship Program (SQEIP) and a minor in quantum information science at WSSU.
